1952 Ford

She was in active service in Russell right up until 1979. When the Fire Service retired her she was bought by the local brigade members and has been used for private functions and local brigade events. She has been Santa's "Sleigh" for many years and many of the local kids have ridden on her as part of our annual children's Christmas party and parade.

In 2001 we felt she was not looking her best so we undertook a major refurbishment. We are very pleased with the results and our very proud to see her returned to her former glory.

We love to show her off in public so we make her availble for special events such as weddings in "Romantic Russell". We supply her, with driver, for $NZ200 for 4 hours, $50 per hour thereafter.
