International Gamefish Tournament
This has been an annual event in Russell since 1980 and is our primary fundraising event each year. And of course a great source of adventure and enjoyment for hundreds of Firefighters, family and friends. The tournament attained "International" status in 2001 with representation from Australia and the USA. All proceeds from the event are retained by the brigade and help us to fund equipment and other resources that help us to enhance the service we offer to the community.
